Health and performance, for iPhone

Your physiology, read as one system.

Helix connects recovery, sleep, training load, nutrition and your training plan, measures each against your own baseline, and turns them into one clear read every morning. It works with the watch or ring you already wear.

Launching 1 December. Free for 14 days, no card required.

Me tab on a recovery day: readiness 40, compromised, 22 below the 30-day average, with an early-warning card.

Works with the watch or ring you already wear

Through Apple Health. Fitbit connects via Google Health.

Five into one

Your data lives in five places.Helix reads it as one.

Sleep, training load, nutrition and recovery all affect each other. Read in isolation, each one misleads. Read together, they show how you’re adapting.

How Helix reads you

Every signal, measured against your normal.

Helix doesn’t judge a number on its own. Each signal is compared with your own 30-day baseline, weighed against the others, and resolved into the few answers that shape your day.

Inside a score

How a score is assembled.

It starts from your own normal. Each signal then moves it up or down by how far last night sat from your baseline. What’s left is today’s score, and you can see every step.

From the first morning

Your baseline, on day one.

  3. 3

Every score is relative to you, so there is no calibration period and no population average.

Every morning

One read, every morning.

Before you train, Helix weighs last night’s recovery against the load you’ve been carrying.

Readiness

A single score, fully explained.

Built from HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and recent load, each measured against your baseline. Every contributor is visible, with an estimate of when you’ll be ready for intensity again. If a signal is missing, the score says so.

Today: readiness 40, 21 below your norm, with what’s driving it, factor by factor, from sleep and resting heart rate to HRV and strain.

Sleep

Sleep, measured as recovery.

Stages, wake episodes and overnight heart rate, set against the sleep your recent training actually requires.

Sleep: last night stage by stage, with heart rate beneath and continuity.

Load

Load you can see building.

Daily strain from heart rate accumulates into fitness and form. The ramp rate warns you when load is rising faster than you can absorb it.

Load: day strain 8.5 of 21, recovery lagging load, with fitness, form and ramp.

Timetable

A plan that responds.

Programmes from Helix AI or a specialist coach sit in your week, and each session is weighed against that morning’s readiness.

In context

Every reading, held against your normal.

Ninety days of HRV, with the band that is normal for you. Scroll, and the lens reads each night as Helix does: the value, and how far it sits from your baseline.

Helix AI

A coach with your context.

Ask why your HRV has fallen this week, or whether tomorrow’s intervals still make sense. Helix AI answers from your own data, and can log meals, build a training week or move a session.

Groups

Nobody quits alone.

Each member follows their own programme. The group sees readiness, sleep and load side by side, as each person chooses to share, and keeps one streak together. Skipping is harder when the gap has your name on it.

Pacts: Seven mornings and In bed by eleven, with each member’s days.
Feed: Nadia’s best readiness in 30 days, Theo’s 18.9 strain session, Wren’s freeze, with comments.
Group tab: Dawn Patrol’s 12-day streak, 4 of 5 in today, and everyone’s readiness, sleep and strain side by side.

How it all connects

Correlations in your own data, tested for statistical significance.

Labs and Health records

Blood markers and clinical records, stored on your phone.

Method

Grounded in sports science.

The method behind every score is published in full. Four principles run through all of it.

Read the method
  1. 01

    Your baseline, not the population’s

Every reading is compared with your own rolling 30-day normal. Two people with the same HRV can be in very different states.

  2. 02

    Load and recovery, read together

Daily strain builds into fitness and form, so a hard week reads differently from a hard day, and the ramp shows how quickly load is rising.

  3. 03

    Honest about missing data

When a signal is missing, the score widens into a range instead of guessing. You can always see what it stands on.

  4. 04

    Patterns, properly tested

Relationships in your data are checked for statistical significance before Helix calls them a pattern.

Privacy

Your physiology stays on your phone.

Helix processes health data on your iPhone. Only what you choose to share ever leaves it.

Read the privacy policy

  1. On-device by default.

Analysis runs on your iPhone, and GPS routes never leave it, even when you post a session.

  2. Shared by metric.

Your group sees only the metrics you switch on, and you can change them at any time.

  3. AI off by default.

Nothing reaches Groq, our AI provider, until you opt in. Groq retains nothing and doesn’t train on it.

Questions

Questions.

Anything else, see Support or email hello@helixapp.co.uk.

Do I need a new wearable?

No. Helix reads Apple Health, so the Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura or Fitbit you already wear works. Fitbit comes through Google Health.

What does my group see?

Only what you choose to share, metric by metric. Share your sleep but not your weight, and change it whenever you like.

Is the AI coach on by default?

No. Helix AI is off until you turn it on, and it shows you exactly what it sees before you agree.

How much does it cost?

All of Helix is free for 14 days, with no card. Then £79.99 a year, which works out at £1.54 a week, or £4 a week with no commitment. You’ll get reminders on days 11, 13 and 14. Nothing is charged automatically: at the end you choose a plan, and your data is kept.

When can I get it?

Helix comes to iPhone in the UK on 1 December 2026. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the morning it lands.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Helix is built for iPhone, with a companion Apple Watch app.
